DASH Access and Inclusion Services is a service provider that supports people who live at home or in supported or residential accommodation. Our professional trainers, personal carers, support workers and/or cleaners provide care and services to assist those who require assistance to manage a specific or various daily tasks or activities.

The process to receive care or a service is easy and straightforward.

 

1.  Call or email us on Mob: 0497 077 016, 0456 841 869, 0456 841 749 or email: info@dashaccessandinclusion.com. When you, or your family carer, contact with us we will discuss your needs, collect your contact information and register your request for care or a service.

 

2.  A DASH service manager will then contact you or your family carer (in person or by phone) to discuss about your interests, needs and specific goals. We will work with you to find the right care and support based on what matters most to you and your family carer.

 

3.  A service agreement will be dated and signed, you will be paired with a personal care worker, support worker, trainer and/or cleaner that best fits your needs, and then your services with DASH will commence.

We provide services in the Eastern metropolitan suburbs of Victoria.

 

Bayside Peninsula:

As much as we would like to offer support in all areas, we are not able to offer assistance in the Port Phillip or the Mornington Peninsula areas at this time.

 

Inner East Melbourne:

Outer Eastern Melbourne:

  • Knox
  • Maroondah
  • The Shire of Yarra Ranges – inclusive of Lilydale, Mooroolbark, Kilsyth, Kilsyth South, Montrose, Belgrave, Belgrave Heights, Belgrave South, Upwey, Tecoma, and Narre Warren East)

Southern Melbourne:

  • Casey
  • Greater Dandenong and
  • Certain suburbs in Cardinia – inclusive of Beaconsfield, Officer, Officer South, Pakenham, Cardinia, Rythdale and Dalmore.

DASH Access and Inclusion Services is currently unavailable to residents of North, North East, Western and regional areas in Victoria. Our long-term plan is to grow our organisation sustainably so that we can provide services to Victorians living in these additional areas. Please check in with us regularly to discover if we have expanded to cover your area.

The DASH team will help you to secure the right kind of care and support based on what matters most to you, the participant, and your family carers in a timely manner.

 

DASH aims to respond to your texts, e-mails and messages within 48 hours. It could take from 7 to 15 working days to provide you with a service. Our attention is on you from the moment you make contact with us, during our conversations and meetings, to discover what your needs and goals are. We will work with you and for you right up to and during the provision of your care and support and any other programs you might require.

As individuals, we all have different needs and require different services and care arrangements. This is why our services are tailored to your needs. Once we have talked with you in detail and assessed your needs, we will be able to provide you with accurate costings. You will receive this information in a timely manner, along with your service agreement and care plan. If you are happy with the information, then you can sign your agreement and we can begin working with you.

We are flexible. Our services are available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

 

At DASH, we have the flexibility to provide services and care on weekdays, evenings, overnights, weekends and holidays. Participants can expect to engage with their workers, or workers, at agreed and set times.

Yes, we are. DASH Access and Inclusion Services is a registered NDIS provider. We deliver services that are fully funded by the NDIS. If you have an NDIS package, we can work with you to achieve your goals and provide the services you need.

At this time, DASH Access and Inclusion Services is not an aged care service provider. If you require information on home care packages or residential care, please contact Elder Rights Advocacy on Free-call 1800 700 600 or (03) 9602 3066. There are several ways to pay for the services and care we provide you.

 

  • Government funding, including the NDIS and State-based (Community Participation) funding
  • Other Insurance-based funding and/or
  • Pay your services privately (self-funding) through your personal income.

 

Before you can purchase DASH services and care, you must provide us with the right documentation for your funding type. The following list will help with understanding which documentation you will need to provide us with.

 

NDIS Self-Managed Funding

Please provide us with a copy of the page in your NDIS plan that confirms your funding is self-managed. We require:

  • The cover letter from the NDIA in which it states you have been approved for self-management
  • The section in your budgets table that confirms how the supports will be paid: “NDIS will pay me directly for these supports”.

 

After receiving your relevant documentation, DASH will verify all details prior to providing services and care. NDIS Plan-Managed Funding

Please provide us with a copy from your Plan Manager that confirms your funding is plan-managed through their organisation. We require:

  • An email from your Plan Manager confirming that invoices will be paid on your behalf. Please include any information that should be included on the invoices and the e-mail address where the invoices should be directed, or
  • A copy of your monthly statement from your Plan Manager (or similar document) that confirms you are currently engaged with their plan management services.

 

After receiving the correct documentation, DASH will verify all details prior to providing services and care. NDIS Agency-Managed Funding (NDIA Managed)

Please provide us with a copy of the page in your NDIS plan that confirms your funding is NDIA-managed. We require:

  • The cover letter from the NDIA in which it states you have been approved for agency-management funding.

For other Home Care Package or State-based Disability funding

Please provide confirmation from your package provider or state-based authority that your funding is managed through their organisation or is self-managed.

 

You must provide us with one or all of the following:

  • An email from your Home Care provider confirming they will pay the invoices on your behalf as well as provide information that should be included on the invoices and email address to be directed
  • An email from your financial intermediary confirming they will pay the invoices on your behalf as well as provide information that should be included on the invoices and email address to be directed
  • A letter from the relevant State-based authority or monthly summary or similar document that confirms you are self-managed.

 

After receiving the relevant documentation, DASH will verify all details and confirm our capacity to provide you with services and care. We will provide you with an information sheet detailing your options at the time of completing your service agreement. We highly recommend you talk to your family carer or representative if you need assistance with understanding and paying our invoices on time, or with any other financial matters or concerns.

 

Once your DASH services commence, we will begin to invoice you directly each week. We generally send invoices via email or post on the following Monday of each week. However, if you receive services fortnightly from us, then we will send you an invoice each fortnight.

Yes. Our low administration fees ensure that participants have more access to their funding for the services they need. Our administration fee is a percentage rate that depends on the kind of service provided to you and it is stipulated on DASH’ service agreement. In addition to general administration costs, we cover the cost of police and other relevant checks and training for all of our employees.

We do not accept cash payments.

We are required to accurately record all transactions and ensure, at all times, that our clients and our workers remain safe and conduct themselves in accordance with consumer protection legislation. As such, our cleaners/support/care/skills workers and administration staff cannot accept cash payments under any circumstances. All payments must be made via bank transfer. Please contact accounts if you have any issues relating to this method of payment.
